Alain Johns is a young man in his early twenties. He is quite tall, with a round, boyish face, bright blue eyes and a mop of unruly blonde hair. Alain is quiet-natured, exceptionally intuitive, keenly observant, and remarkably steadfast. Due to his propensity for speaking with such brevity and being slow to answer, Alain has often been mistaken as a dullard. A most dangerous assumption, say true, but often to Alain's benefit. A gunslinger of Gilead, Alain was a member of Roland Deschain's first ka-tet. Gifted with "the touch," in canon Alain is a skilled telepath. On the island, however, this talent is reduced to an exceptionally strong intuition.

Alain enters Tabula Rasa immediately following his death in Stephen King's Dark Tower series, the details of which I will not mention so you remain unspoiled. ;)
